Student

Shannon Vokes, B.A. RP (Q) (she/her)

I am a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy program at Wilfrid Laurier University, working towards becoming a Registered Psychotherapist, Qualifying (RP(Q)). I am under the supervision of Sarah Leyes in London, Ontario.

Over the past decade I’ve had the honour of working with people of all ages in their mental health journey through art-and play-based support. My areas of special interest include grief and loss, stress and anxiety, and crisis intervention. Alongside my MA I am working on a certificate in Solution-Focused Therapy through the University of Toronto. I also volunteer for a national crisis line.

In my free time I like to foster dogs and provide love and shelter while they wait for their forever home. My hobbies include hiking, photography, and bullet journaling.
