Rachael Duck, B.Ed., MA, RP(Q) (she/her)
I believe in the power of relationships. The ability to connect creates an energy between people where they feel heard, valued, and empowered without judgement. My passion is creating a space where this can happen for you and your child, where you can heal and grow as you are ready. It is exciting to see the possibilities and what your child can achieve! I have had the privilege of working with children, youth, and families since 1998 in various teaching and counselling roles in Canada and the UK.
The strength of the mind and body connection supports human well-being. Thus, when I am not working with you, I love being active and outdoors, connecting to nature, especially if it involves water, mountains, or snow. I can often be found behind the camera lens exploring my creative impulses, especially if it involves travelling the world and experiencing new places and cultures.
I offer trauma-informed, attachment, family systems, and person-centered psychotherapy. Working collaboratively and from an integrative approach, I combine art, play, talk, humour, and curiosity to find an approach that best fits your child’s and your needs.
